Tested by ASTM D-3273-94 standards, TruProtect was exposed to mold, fungus, and mildew causing agents for 30 days. The final score was a perfect 10 out of 10, indicating zero growth.

Natural sound barrier; highest possible STC of 19 (OITC of 15) for 1/2" material by itself.

STC of 51 (OITC of 35) using 1" material in a normally constructed 8.0" wall.

Hail Damage Reduction

They are also the same problem solving skills that led to the development of a new product for TruProtect. Many office buildings have dropped ceilings with tiles made of mineral fiber or fiberglass. These tiles are porous, collect dust, have minimal insulation and sound proofing, and make a complete mess when installing and replacing. Surely there had to be a better product. Enter TruProtect's new ceiling tiles to solve these problems. Each tile is the original TruProtect with an added polypropylene cover that is remarkably durable and visually appealing. Without the hassle of remodeling, an office can now add the benefits of TruProtect.
