Universal Mounting System
For ACTIV™ and Pasif™ EMI Filters
	ACTIV™ and Pasif™ EMI Filters incorporate a Universal Mounting System (UMS) with a threaded hub on the filter output that mates to an interchangeable threaded penetration pipe. Penetration pipes, offered in multiple lengths, screw directly onto the hub, enabling easy installation through shield walls of any material and thickness. All that’s required is a single hole in the wall plus a gasket and flange nut to secure the filter with an RF-tight seal. Swapping penetration pipes is as simple as loosening the pipe with a wrench and threading on another; the filter body, nut, gasket and hole in the shield wall are all reused. UMS
